Want classic bulbs for one season, or not ready to commit to a permanent track? A seasonal crew hangs the lights, keeps them working, and takes them back down.
A permanent system is a long-term choice. Seasonal service makes more sense when:
Temporary lights still have to attach to something. On a concrete tile roof, crews typically use clips made for tile edges or attach along the fascia or gutter where there is one. Ask how they will attach without lifting or cracking tiles, and whether anyone will walk the roof. On stucco, adhesive hooks and clips can pull paint or texture when they come off, so ask what they use.
Ask them to note any tiles that are already cracked before they start, especially on older roofs in established neighborhoods.
If you find yourself paying for hanging and takedown year after year, compare that against a one-time permanent install. A permanent system also covers game nights and everyday lighting. Our permanent vs. traditional comparison lays out the trade-offs, and the cost guide has a calculator. You can also request quotes for either option.

Ask for the takedown date in writing and compare it to your community's rules. Some associations set a date by which holiday decorations must come down.
Many seasonal companies wrap trees and light yard features as part of a package. Ask what is included and how they protect plants and irrigation lines.
They should not if the crew uses the right clips and avoids walking on tile. Ask about their method and who pays if a tile breaks.
Yes. Seasonal lights come down each year, so nothing stops you from installing a permanent system the following season.
